Tomato and Bread Soup

Very simple and quick recipe, but also quite tasty. Rather surprisingly, ends up being full of flavor and bread is a surprisingly good addition to a soup like this, as it turns into something more like a gelatinous stew, which might not sound appealing but I actually quite like. Recipe takes between 20 to 30 minutes or so to make.

  1. Dice an onion and garlic, crush tomatoes (if you have whole) or open the can.
  2. Add in some oil and onion+garlic, and sautee for a few minutes.
  3. Add in the tomatoes and basil, then stir in the bread cubes and cook for 25ish minutes. Season as needed, and you're done.
